1. Use vinegar:

Using vinegar as a cleaner for your grill is easier, start by pouring only two cups of water and two cups of vinegar into a spray bottle, then shake to mix.

You’ll also need aluminum foil to clean with. Fold the aluminum foil into a small square that you can be able to hold properly.

Next, spray on the racks grill, and let dry for 9 minutes. While the grill grates dry, pour out the remaining solution and replace it with vinegar only.

Now you can spray vinegar on the foil and use this to rub out the grill. To avoid the vinegar smell lasting for a long time, rinse off the grill with warm water.

2. Use beer:

using beer to clean your grill grate is a very popular method because most people are likely to grill while enjoying drinks like beer.

Using beer as a grill cleaner is also simple, you’ll need about half bottle of beer. Heat up the grill and pour that half bottle of beer on the hot plate.

But here is the simple way I am likely to use to keep the BBQ in a ready-to-clean state while eating.

Fill up a metal baking tray with water and place it over one of the burners. Ensure that the burner is on enough to let the water boil slowly, then close the lid and enjoy the meal. 

After eating go back to the grill and carefully open the lid, you will find that steam has loosened the gunk making cleaning up a quick and simple task.

4. Use a baking soda:

Baking soda can effectively clean your nasty grill and many people use it for cleaning for good reason. You just need a sponge with a scorer and soft side to it and a bowl of water to clean your grill.

Now sprinkle your baking soda directly onto the hotplate and dissolve in the water, then apply baking soda and water using the sponge to the grill.

Clean the sprinkled hotplate using a sponge, clean until the baking soda disappears, the grill will be cleaned then dry off with a paper towel.

5. Use coffee:

Have you ever heard about cleaning your grill with coffee? Using your leftover pot of coffee can clean your grill amazingly

Using coffee to clean your grill is super simple, just use a large pan to lay flat your grill grates. Fill it with coffee to submerge the grates.

Make sure it is enough to cover your entire grill grates. You can do something else while the coffee doing its amazing work for about 30 minutes.

When you remove the grill grates you’ll see how the acid in the coffee done the job, the will no longer grime.

6. Use dishwasher:

This method will only work when your grill grate fits in a standard dishwasher because you will have to place the grill grates upright in the dishwasher, then run it on a regular cycle.

Your dishwasher will clean away grease just like it does on your pans and pots, simple as that.
